Pupil & Sports Premium

Pupil Premium Strategy
The school recieves a Pupil Premium grant from Central Government each year.  Cranford Park's allocation for the year 2016/17 was £47,160.  We have used this money to provide increased staffing levels of Learning Support Assistants and One to One teachers to work with children across the school as well as other forms of support.  For 2017/18 the school has recived £44,640.  Further information can be found  here in our Pupil Premium Strategy. We will be reviewing this strategy in March 2018.

Sports Premium

The government is providing additional funding of £150 million per annum for academic years 2016 to 2017 to improve provision of PE and sport in primary schools. This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport.

This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.

For this academic year Cranford Park has been allocated a lump sum of £8000 plus £5 per pupil aged 5 or over on roll in October 2016. For our school is has given us a total of £8864.

We have invested this money in employing a Sports Coach to work one day a week. Toby is working alongside all of our existing staff in a training and development role.

We have also used this money to buy extra equipment for PE lessons.
